My Birthday...

It's my birthday. I actually sort of forgot. You see, in D.R.'s family, birthdays are a big deal and they celebrate for days. I am in the family now so I get the same treatment. I got my presents already. Then on Monday night D.R. and Tia gave me a card. Then, last night my in-laws came into town and we went out to dinner. By the time this morning actually arrived, it felt like my birthday had already happened! D.R. woke me up to say Happy Birthday, and I was like "Huh, I forgot it was today".
The pictures are of the girls just before we went out to dinner. It really captures their individual personalities. Tia is such a girlie girl, and so loving. She had to wear the fanciest dress she owns. Gia was perfectly happy wearing denim, and thought it was hilarious that Tia kept trying to kiss her.
These two precious angels are all I ever need for my birthday. They are my gifts. I am thankful for a healthy and happy family.
I have been blessed with a loving husband, beautiful daughters, and an awesome extended family.
What more could I ask for?
